Established in 1996 we are a non-government, non-profit organization to assist distressed women migrants returning from Japan, as well as their Japanese-Filipino children, in the promotion and protection of their rights and welfare.

DAWN registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on February 6, 1996.

2011 saw DAWN expand its programs and services to include migrant domestic worker returnees from Asia and the Middle East.

DAWN is licensed and accredited by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and accredited by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
